Simulated, by design
Almost every evaluation runs on a simulated account, and many funded accounts do too. Firms make money from fees; payouts come out of that pool. That is legal, but it means the rules decide everything.
What to check
- Payout proof over the last 90 days, not one screenshot.
- Recent rule changes: do they go against traders?
- Trustpilot: read the 1-star reviews and the firm’s replies.
- Country restrictions and KYC requirements before you buy.
- Consistency rules and payout caps on the funded account.
Red flags
- Payouts denied for rules that are not in the published terms.
- Rules changed for existing accounts without notice.
- No company name, registration number or address anywhere on the site.
- Payout proof that is only screenshots, with no dates or amounts you can check.
- Countdown timers that reset and “last chance” discounts every week.
Green flags
- Terms you can read before you pay, with a dated changelog.
- A named company and support that answers rule questions in writing.
- Payout records spread over months, not one viral screenshot.
A 10-minute check before you pay
- Find the company name in the terms and look it up in its country’s business register.
- Search the firm’s name with “payout denied” and read how the firm answered, not just the complaint.
- Save a copy of the rules page and the terms on the day you buy; rules can change later.
- Pay with a card if you can: a card payment can be disputed, a crypto payment can’t.
We track rule changes for every firm on the public changelog and link the source for each one.
